P3 Collaborations is led by Brian Cavan. Brian has been an educator and technology professional for more than 25 years, working in a variety of public and private organizations both large and small. Brian has worked as a teacher in the Ontario Secondary School system, a software designer and technical training and documentation manager in a global telecommunications company, and an executive in a post-graduate technology education institute.
In 1998, Brian established EduTech Collaborations, a management consulting company initially specializing in technology applications in the education sector. Since that time he has been working on a project/contract basis with clients including governments, corporations, academic and research institutions, and not-for-profit organizations. The focus of his consulting work has broadened considerably over time.
In 2004 Brian changed the name of his consulting company to P3 Collaborations, reflecting an emphasis on projects that involve joint public-private sector initiatives, partnerships, and funding programs. Brian specializes in developing proposals, business plans, partnerships, funding applications, and project plans, and in providing project management services during their implementation.
